Description

A group of four 19th-century dental mirrors. From the left:

1) A late 19th-century gilt-metal mirror. Length:5″. $95.00

2) A late 19th century mirror with pivoting head and bone handle. Length: with mirror in line with handle: 5″.  $95.00

3) A silver mirror with the pivoting handle . Hallmarked for Chester 1821 by Mary Huntington, one of a handful of female silversmiths working during the Georgian era.  Length: with mirror in line with handle: 4.5″. $395.00

4) A simple silver dental mirror (not hallmarked but definitely sliver) ). “Stains” on silver frame and handle are due to flash; they are not on the mirror.That said, the mirror itself has lost some silvering C1840.Length: 3.25″. $195.00
