A rare teaching model of rabbit anatomy, hand painted plaster, from the late 1800’s/ early 1900’s.

Despite the high quality and style that recall the German models (like the Bock-Steger production) this model is possibly from Romania: it comes from there both the only 2 others models like this one that I’ve come across in the past years were from Romania as well.

Of course if any of you should have more info please let me know

In perfect condition (thanks for another amazing restoration), measurements of the wooden board are 72 x 41,5 cm and the model is bigger than a standard rabbit.
