Description

Rare English terrestrial globe, 7cm in diameter, bearing the promotional label “Ashworth’s Machine Cotton”.

The globe is likely from around 1860-1870.

It has an attractive semi-circular brass mount terestrial globe based on a beautifully turned mahogany base with three brass feet.

The small 7cm diameter globe is in rather good condition and easily readable despite some minor cracks.
