Description

A small travel refracting telescope with three draws and made of cardboard, green vellum gilded and covered in leather.

The instrument is not signed but French dating from the mid-18th century. It measures closed, with its two caps, 24cm in length and in position giving a clear view, 64.5cm.

Very good original and working condition.

The instrument preserved its two caps and its original optics.

Only defect to note : small tears at the base of the second tube or draw (see the last two photos).

Unusual model as is, complete.
