Description

An excellent and quite unusual example of the Alfred Cornu-type high precision stage micromemeter signed by Duboscq and Pellin for the measurement of photographic prints and in particular for the measurement of the line distance in spectroscopic photographs of the ultraviolet spectrum.

(in the Duboscq-Pellin catalogue from 1889)

This is the very rare large modèle for measuring 90 millimeters.

Preserved in its orignal case.
