Description
A fascinating set of six antique wireframe geometric models, crafted in iron wire and originally used as educational aids for the teaching of geometry and solid mathematics.
Such models were found in schools, technical institutes, and university science collections, where they helped students visualize three-dimensional forms, spatial relationships, edges, vertices, and geometric structures. The group includes various geometric solids represented through their skeletal frameworks, creating an elegant and highly decorative visual effect. Three examples retain their original metal identification tags bearing catalog numbers (“B16”, “D14”, and “16/34”).
In very good condition, in more than 20 years it’s the first time I come across these kind of models, with such a striking modernist aesthetic.
