Description

An brass Italian protractor very similar to the Lusverg-family production with the little additional arm and the scale “Schala” engraved on the lower part of the instrument.

For a very similar example see the large Lusverg set at the Galileo Museum in Firenze : https://catalogue.museogalileo.it/gallery/BoxMathematicalInstrumentsInv243244247.html

Even unsigned, the type of the number and the general shape could confirm the Lusverg production.

The instrument measures 11,8x8cm. Some traces on the brass but generally in excellent condition.
