Description

A pair of small antique ebony handled obstetric birthing forceps from the mid 19th century, marked with the makers mark ‘C. Baker”, this was Charles Baker who established his business in High Holborn London in 1765. The two forceps slot together. When closed they measure 18cm in length. This pair are in good functional condition but with tarnish marks, the ebony handles are smooth.
