Offered for sale is this early steampunk style adding machine – “The adder”.
“The adder” was in production from around 1908 to 1920.
This steampunk style adding machine looks good on any desk.
This example is in good condition with no dents to the casing and has glass cover over the numbers. It is in working order. From time to time you will need to push the reset 2-3 times to reset to zero.
Rarity: From what I’ve seen there are not too many of these outside of museums and they rarely come up for sale

Condition: Good. Working condition. Metal case is good – no dings or dents. There is some age patina (discoloration and spots) to the the metal case finish. Paint from the keys is warn slightly – expected for the age. There is two small screws missing from side of the case.
