An example of the Benetfink base coin detector, 89 & 90 Cheapside London. Used for checking counterfeit coins, Sovereign, Half Sovereign, threepence, fourpence, sixpence, shilling, florin, half crown and crown, using counterweights beneath brass plate. In overall good condition, noting early brass repair to top, also one piece of wood to top side missing.
