Description

Three inch diameter drum sextant, signed above the silver arc, ‘W. Rothwell, London’, with peep hole sight, two drop down sun filters and mirror adjusting key. 

A very clean example retaining all original lacquer. The internal mirrors are excellent.

Contained in plush-lined moroccon case.

William Rothwell worked from 1849 – 1901.
