A BRASS GRAPHOMETER, circa 1750 sign. CLERGET PARIS AU BUTTERFIELD. The protractor engraved with 2 grade scales 0-180. Central compass box with wind rose, directions, blued-steel needle and graduated around the edge. Base and alidades with upright sights, ball for ball-and-socket mounting, Dimensions 23 cm.
