Description

SOLD – A very nice gilt case compass in a leather case signed, ‘Yeates & Son, Dublin’ on the porcelain dial.  The needle is locked by pushing the button to the top (pull out to free the needle).

The rear of the compass is engraved, ‘Jonas Hill. Christmas 1873’.

In excellent condition without dings or dents ….. damage free.

The compass measures 40 mm across and is contained in its felt line leather case with fastening hook.
