VERY RARE EARLY SECTOR WITH NUMEROUS SCALES INCLUDING THE ASTRONOMICAL & METAL SYMBOLS, 10.1/4" INCH LIMBS, 20.1/2" INCHES OPEN, CLOSED 2.1/4" WIDE. ONE EDGE HAS A SCALE. THE SECTOR IS MADE OF FIVE LAYERS OF BRASS AND OF RIVETED CONSTRUCTION. WEIGHS 3/4 OF A KILO, GOOD CONDITION & PATINA. UNSIGNED, ALMOST CERTAINLY MADE IN LONDON BY ONE OF THE EARLY TOP MAKERS.
