Overall condtion very good, noting some loss of the spine–see third image. 9″ 6.5″ approx. G.V. was likely Gabriel Voisin , who in collaboration wth his brother Charles, was the first important French designer of heavier-than-air flying machines.Incudes discussions of the work of Delegrange, Farman and the Wright Brothers and the military application of dirigibles. Only a small handful of copies are in libaries in France and the USA.
