Fine and rare microscope by Engelbert & Hensoldt at Wetzlar, made of brass, original lacquered with original blackened base, ca. 1863 – 1865, hight 31 cm (12 1/2″), 1 eyepiece (No. 1), 1 objective (No. 3), coarse adjustment by hand, fine adjustment underneath the stage; signature at the stage “Engelbert U. Hensoldt Wetzlar 220”; all parts are original and in a very good condition! Mechanics works well, optically and cosmetically very good.
