Hughes writing telegraph.A  printing telegraph built by Siemens & Halske.This teleprinter was invented by David Edward Hughes in 1856.Good overall condition.The base is made in wrought iron,the top in wood and keys in white celuloid.A similar telegraph can be found at Saint Petersburg Museum-Rusia,Getty Museum USA ,Science Museum -England, Warshaw Museum-Poland.Size:120x75x55cm
