A rare Italian solid silver hearing aid.
It dates to the late 1800’s/early 1900’s and have an attractive art deco design.
The tubes fit into the ear canal, and the larger hollow sections sit in the the outer ear.
It’s marked with a “D”, stands for “Destra” (=right), so it was for the right ear. Most likely it’s one of a pair.
In perfect condition
(in the picture a reference for this set from the book about antique hearing aids/ ear trumpets by Elizabeth Bennion)
