Description

SOLD – A nice clean microscope signed on the limb, ‘ J.H. Steward, 54 Cornhill, London’, with rack and pinion focussing, fine focus wheel, single sided 1.5″ mirror, bulls eye on stand, stage forceps, live box, objective in canister, eyepiece, a selection of slides and a number of butterfly wings. Also some plain glass slides.

The microscope stands 12.5″ high when racked down.

All clean and in good working order. I cannot find and issues with it though it looks like the bottom of the bulls eye stand has been re-soldered (though not unsightly).

Contained in original mahogany case with lock, key and handle. No cracks / splits.
