Description

2nd edition published in Amsterdam dated 1782, original calf covers and binding. No loose pages. Good frontispiece although first page has a small missing piece from frequent thumbing. 24 hand coloured plates to include continents, countries of Europe, world map, armillary sphere and planetary motion. Plate size is 4 1/2 x 3 1/2 ( 12 x 9 cm.) on average (folded).

Very little foxing, strong binding, no missing pages. Written in French but the plates are universal. Sextodecimo size.
