Description

A good early example of a Padgett-Hood dermatome, the first type of rotary drum dermatome devised by Earl Padgett, a plastic surgeon and George Hood, mechanical engineer with Downs Surgical. A similar dermatome was used at Kansas University Hospital for their first skin graft in 1938, see www.kumc.edu. In good condition with original box, now polished
