Description

This stethoscope belonged to Felix Pincus ,MD (1868-1947) and was purchased from his grandson. His obituary (see link below ) in the JOURNAL OF INVESTIGATIVE DERMATOLOGY (1948, 11, 1–2; doi:10.1038/jid.1948.59 ) notes that Dr. Pincus ” was one of the foremost dermatologists and venereologists of Germany”.

The stethoscope retains its original case and a second chest piece. It appears to be all original, complete and in vg condition.
