Signed R&J Beck “Popular Model”.  C. 1900 Microscope with case and a few accessories and slides.  Accessories include a bullseye condenser, several slides, slide covers, an objective lens case cap marked ¼ In and a 1 In marked objective.   Microscope stands 15 “(38.1 cm) tall, with coarse focusing at minimum height even with the stage.   Case dimensions are 16” (40.6 cm) long, 6.25” (15.8 cm) wide and 7.25“(18.4 cm) deep.  One of the knurled coarse focusing knob shafts is bent a bit, but the coarse focusing works fine with either knob being turned.    No stage glass with this microscope.    Fine focusing also works as does the binocular tube focusing.   Back of triangular base is marked “R&J. Beck 9954 London & Philadelphia” This inscription can be seen in one of the images in this listing.    Case is in good condition but one of the latches on one end of the case is missing.   Double sided mirrors are in fair condition with crazing on both sides.  Inside of case lid has handwritten name and address of one of the previous owners.
