Description

A good silver monocular, signed on the eye-piece, ‘Gilbert & Wright, London’. The single draw tube is fully retractable. It measures 2.75 inches long ( 7 cm ) when closed with a diameter to the barrel of 1.5 inches ( 38 mm ). The object glass has a diameter of 35 mm.

There are no dents, there is no wear to the silver. The lenses are damage free. Some small nicks to the enamel barrel. The draw tube works perfectly. Optically excellent. Gilbert & Wright worked from 1790 – 1792 and 1802 – 1805.
