Description
A single draw marine telescope measuring 21″ when closed and 38″ when fully open. It has a crown / flint objective glass of 48 mm diameter and there are protective sliders to each end.
Signed near the eye piece, ‘A Walker, Liverpool’.
With sliding anti-glare tube to the leather covered barrel. It gives a good, sharp image.
No dents, dings or chips.
John and Alexander Walker ran the business from 1823 – 1859 and was succeeded by Alexander Walker.
