Folding arm protractor by Harris 17 Holborn London, circa 1830.
Small size 5,1/2″ or 140mm diameter lacquered brass protractor with inset silver scale and silver verniers.
Pins on the back hold the instrument on the paper, glass cross sight to the center.
The folding arms supported by springs when extended with pins at their ends for accurate plotting.
The protractor is adjusted by wheel which acts on a rack around the edge.
With fitted hinged mahogany case with hook catches.
Some if the pins a little short otherwise all in excellent condition and good working order
