Description

A Talrich wax model of the First month of pregnancy in a well-formed multiparous young woman. The original catalogue text states that ‘the uterus contains a five-week embryo whose umbilical vesicle is fully developed and can be seen through the amnion membrane and the amniotic fluid. The cervical cavity begins to dilate but it is mainly in the last months of pregnancy that this opening dilates most rapidly. In primiparous women, this process only occurs at the time of delivery.’

Original French text of page 24-25.
