Description

Three 19th-century hemorrhoid clamps. From the top:

1) A very rare example Curling’s clamp by Down Bros, London. This clamp is shown S. Maw & Sons 1870 catalog and was introduced earlier.  See last image. $395.00

2) Smith’s clamp by Matthews ,London. This widely adopted clamp is also shown in the Maw 1870 catalog and was introduced earlier. See last image. $225.00

3) Langenbeck’s clamp by Hajek working, according to Bennion, in Eastern Europe,probably in what is now the  Czech Republic. $350.00
