Description

Mid – late 19th century three draw brass telescope with the unusual feature of a bone covered barrel.

The telescope measures just under 6 inches long and extends to 16.5 inches. It has a main lens diameter of 27 mm.

With sliding ray shade and dust slider to the eye-piece.

No dents, chips or cracks. The telescope gives a good, clear image.

Contained in circular leatherette covered wooden case which has slight warping but closes ok; note just one locking clasp. The green lining to the inside is a little perished.
