Description
Set of two graduated plessimeters. A plessimeter is an instrument which is used for percussion to determine the limits and consistency of internal organs through the emission of sound. Instructions for use are very simple: “With the plessimeter held firmly in the left hand, the fingertips of the right hand percuss, either with the indicator only, or with the first two fingers, sometimes even with three. The shock must be dry, with the finger withdrawn immediately, and rapid, so that the vibrations take place. several shocks in succession”. And this is the definitive percussion, the one we still use today.
Dimensions: Length: 9 cm and 6 cm.
