Description
Rybar Asthma Inhaler Therapy kits dating to approximately the 1940s–1960s, designed to treat asthma and other breathing difficulties by delivering medication as a fine spray via a nose piece or face mask. The devices were used to atomise liquid medication for asthma inhalant therapy, allowing patients—both adults and children—to inhale treatments to relieve lung symptoms.
Rybar Laboratories Ltd. of Tankerton, Kent (England) produced these inhalers and accessories between 1941 and 1967.
The Inhaler and Face Mask both come in their original boxes, the Inhaler with instructions, the Facemask has a small envelope marked Nose Piece, which is empty.
