Porcelain examples in a single color or with floral decoration are somewhat less common. Those with human figures are quite uncommon. 1829 French Patent Odorless Commode Pot

 This very rare odorless commode pot  is about 12″ high. It was  invented and patented in 1829 by a pharmacist named Frigerio, who worked at the Paris Maternity Hospital. A fine, silver, Anel’s lachrymal syringe: early 19th-centy in date and likely French in origin. The syringe retains its original leather case and two of its original tips. This is an early drum microscope at the second adress of Nachet company, “16 rue Serpente” before Camille and Alfred Nachet moved to 17 rue Saint-Séverin in 1863. The microscope is signed “Nachet et Fils rue Serpente, 16 Paris”. This microscope is described in the 1856 catalogue as “Microscope petit modèle, monté droit”. Armoured medical corset for scoliosis, steel ribs and uprights, laced at the back. This type of corset is made of a plaster cast. The manufacturer’s name is engraved on the front. Signed “C.
