Description

A French, C1930, world-time clock. We are dating the clock based  on Ethiopia being  shown as Abyssinia, Thailand  as Siam and the absence of Palestine, that area shown encompassed by “Transjordan. The Map is  marked in French that it was made in England but no maker is present.  This 4” world globe sits in a mount atop a wind up clock. The clockwork mechanism is not working and was likely over wound.  The rotating disc has a label with the time to the quarter hour.minute.  The paper globe is in very good condition. The globe clock measures 12” in height and 9” in width at the bottom of the base. This really not our subject, so please ask questions or request additional images.
