Description

 A superb mid-19th century wet-cupping set by Dubois, working in Paris. This four cup set ( all cups signed “DUBOIS” on the valve) is complete and in excellent condition. The 16-blade brass scarificator loads and fires perfectly and is marked “​Breveté SGD [Sans Garantie Du] Gouvernement”: patent without government guarantee. The brass portions of the cups and the pump retain nearly all of their original lacquer. Case is in excellent condition as well.
