Description
An unusual form of a French spyglass made in silver and silvered brass bearing the unknown signature of “Charles Gerard Opticien / r. Neuve St Pierre 12 / Paris”.
The main tube is covered with checkered leather (of which the strap is lacking).
The little telescope is in good condition with its sun visor, is two protective cap, its original optics given a good image.
The instrument measures 11,3cm to 17,5cm lenght and 4cm diameter. No hallmark.
