A rare anatomical wax model by the German maker Hygiene Museum of Dresden, from the 1950’s.
Hand painted wax on wooden boards, in great condition (I can only notice a small chip on the thumb nail), life size, measurements of the board are 33,5 x 24,5 cm.
The represented dermatological disease is the scabies, a contagious infestation of the skin by the human itch mite.
