Description
A beautiful microscope made in Paris by Constant Verick (1829-1892) around 1870. This microscope follows the french continental manufacturer’s design. Verick worked and trained with Hartnack until Hartnack left Paris during the Franco-Prussian War.
The microscope is in very good condition, the fine focus doesn’t move, it’s stuck. The lacquer retains a beautiful color and shine, along with the marks consistent with use.
