Description

10 inches (25 cm.) long with an octagonal, tapering rosewood handle (11 cm.) with rounded pommel. Ornate thumb screw to tighten the blade. Minor pitting of arc and a few worn teeth on the blade. Handle is free of cracks. 

From museum and catalogue photos, this saw appears to be an original Benjamin Bell c.1780.
