Equatorial ring in brass signed Troughton & Simms London.
The meridian circle, on the signature side, bears two latitude scales from 0 to 90 (for the northern and southern hemispheres).
The inner hour ring is graduated from I to XII twice. It is positioned on two small supports.
The central bridge bears the scale of months on one side and the zodiac with a movable cursor in the center on the other.
There is a small movable throne supporting a brass ring.
Superb patina from use.
Dimensions: diameter 10.2 cm x height 12.5 cm (with ring).
Made in England circa 1830.
