Description
A four draw telescope with a leather covered barrel, signed, ‘F. Cox, 100 Newgate St, London’.
Fully open it measures 32.5″ (83 cm) and 10.5″ (27 cm) when closed.
The first draw is a pancratic eye piece giving magnifications of 25 x to 40 x.
It gives a good clear image when viewing.
Dint to the brass front cell.
Cox worked from 1845 – 1870.
