Description
A four draw brass telescope, the first draw is engraved, ‘Ross. London. No 25758’. Also engraved with the initials, ‘B.M.’ (presumably the owner).
The telescope measures 26 cm when closed and 85 cm fully extended with a main lens of 42 mm.
The first draw is a pancratic eye piece with indicated magnifications of 20, 25 and 30 x.
Very clear to look through with damage free lenses.
The number of the telescope (25758) estimates it’s production of around 1895.
