A patented SNOW Radio-Kompass (for locating broadcasting stations) with world time zones/cities and working compass.

Brass compass on a 6 inch (15 cm.) mahogany plinth with knurled knob to rotate the world map surmounted by a magnetic needle (working). The dial is divided in two ranges of 12 hours (day and night), each being itself divided into two sectors, a white one from 0-6 hours and a black one from 6 to 12 hours (time zones). European city names are indicated all around the outer dial (German cities in German language) with frequencies. A center dial features a green rose of the winds and a World map (with major cities) centered around the North Pole where the magnetic needle’s pivot is located. The cardinal points are oriented for an observer standing at the geographic North pole. North being towards Canada and the Americas, South being towards Siberia. Marked Pat. SNOW Radio-Kompass Trademark with watermark logo featuring the letter A and letters GIL. Minor scratches and lacquer loss to the brasswork ring. Protective glass is flawless. Paper dial.
