Description
Excellent condition Watson microscope binocular head in brass probably dating to around the 1930s. This has pretty clean optics for the age of the item, good brass-work and generally very good black paintwork, with few signs of use. Fits a standard 23mm Watson eyepiece tube – if in doubt re suitability just contact seller.
I’ve also added a short brass Watson eyepiece tube with 37.67mm male thread as shown at the end of the listing photo stream. The listing photos therefore show the binocular head with and without the eyepiece tube.
The binocular head tightens into position with a lock nut mechanism to tighten onto an eyepiece tube. It also comes with two Watson 8x magnification eyepieces as shown, these have the correct collars fitted.
Item also comes with fitted Watson storage case as shown.
The item will be well wrapped and shipped by Royal Mail.
