The globe contains a detailed representation of country borders, state boundaries, cities railroads, rivers and telegraphic and navigation lines and cables. Silver sundial signed “Le Febvre A Paris” dated circa 1680. The upper face is engraved with three hour scales (two in Roman numerals and one in Arabic numerals) graduated from 4-12-8 and 5-12-7. In the centre is a foliate decoration surmounted by the signature “Le Febvre A Paris”. Mobile bird gnomon with foliate decoration, one side graduated for latitudes from 35 to 60 degrees.
