Description

SOLD – A good, clean example of Swift’s portable microscope, also known as the ‘Improved Clinical, Zoologist & Field Microscope’, or ‘Portable, Clinical & Field Microscope’, circa 1907 – 1912. This particular example is very clean and comes with:

1/16 in objective lens in canister by Swift.

A Telaugio x10  eye-piece by Swift & Son.

An eye-piece ‘Analsator’ by Reichert.

Double nose piece.

J. Swift & Son adjustable stage.

Condenser and diaphragm.

Black spot condenser.

Plano / concave mirror.

Stage forceps.

Stage clips.

The draw tube is engraved, ‘ J. Swift & Son, London, 648’.

Contained in original hard, brown tan leather case with plush internal lining with fastening straps.

A fine, almost untouched example.
