Description
A three draw silver plated telescope (silver on copper), the first draw signed, ‘DIXEY. Opticians to His Majesty’, with black enamelled barrel.
The draws smooth freely and the lenses are damage free and the telescope gives an excellent clear view. Some wear to the silver in areas.
Most probably George & Charles Dixey (1822 – 38) as they had a Royal Appointment to George 1V.
