Alcohol minimum thermometer with index in red leather case 4 3/8″ x 2,1/16″ or 111mm x 53mm;
Fahrenheit and Reamur scales,
The silvered brass back plate marked William Collins, Night
The case with hanging ring to suspend horizontally.
The tiny white glass marker baton is perhaps stuck at the bend, some cooling or warming may release it
All in very good sound condition, the silk inside the lid a little worn, the leather with slight indent and surface wear.
