Description
A very good single draw refracting telescope by T. Harris & Son, London. c.1810. 32 inches extended, 20 inches closed, the mahogany barrel flares from 44 to 55 mm. in diameter and has no flaws. Single draw of 12 inches is in 3 sections with wonderful, clear optics. Early knurling/roping of the brass, 2 inch object lens doublet (sliding cover missing).
